For the first time since accused murderers Tyler Terry and Adrienne Simpson allegedly led Chester County deputies on a car chase on May 17, Chester County Sheriff Max Dorsey shared details of the bravery deputies showed in the face of danger.
The chase started around 11 p.m. on May 17 at the Bojangles location off Highway 9 in Richburg. Dorsey said Deputy Sydney Canipe spotted a car in the parking lot after hours, not knowing now accused murderers Terry and Simpson were in the car.
“Sydney Canipe would have bought them gas if they were out of gas,” Dorsey said. “She would have bought them something to eat or bought them a drink. So, she didn’t go there with the intent of having to chase someone or get shot at.”
