The Golden Pagoda of Namsai is one of the most popular tourist destination in Arunachal Pradesh. Its the largest pagoda of Northeast India. This is on the way to Parshuram Kund, If you are planning to visit Parshuram Kund, The Golden Pagoda should definitely be on your bucket list.
The area of the pagoda is huge. it basically has two parts, one of them is established with the Giant lord Buddha statue.
I.e actually the 'World's largest Bamboo Buddha idol', and we came to know that after the shoot, too bad or else we wouldn't have missed mentioning that fact so apologies for that. It is surrounded by huge garden area and meditation halls.
The other part of the Pagoda, is the area where the main pagoda is established. The pagoda is designed in Burmese style and its also called as Kongmu Kham in Khamti language, i.e a tribal language spoken in Myanmar and some part of India.
Long story short its a very peaceful place, i had a great experience their. It has great vibes and if you want some calm and peace of mind, The Golden Pagoda is really a gem of a place.
