Are you currently running an AMD rig and considered the upgrade to the Ryzen 7 5800x3D? Today I’ll be showing you exactly that, as I replace my 3700x with this beast of a CPU!

As AMD’s socket AM4 comes towards the end of its upgrade cycle, the 5800x3D is often bandied around as the “solution” for gamers who don’t want to splash out on a whole new rig, but eek out some more performance from their existing setup.

It does appear that the larger cache in this CPU makes a big difference for games specifically, and in particular Tarkov hence all of the glowing reviews across the internet.
