Geoff Montgomery walks us through his process of how he centers the proof research barrel in the lathe for precise fitment of the receiver to the barrel. This allows everything to layout concentric to the centerline of the barrel to guarantee a precision rifle build. Geoff shows you how he uses measurements from the accurized receiver and bolt to determine the correct chambering of the cartridge with headspace gauges for a 6.5 PRC cartridge. Once complete this Remington 700 rifle build will preform incredibly well.
