Antibiotics save millions of lives each year. However, the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains represents a serious threat to public health and the economy. The Great Plains Quality Innovation Network (QIN) is working within our region to help slow the emergence of resistance bacteria and prevent the spread of resistant infections.
