The tried and true 5.7L iForce V8 has been discontinued in the newest Toyota Tundra. It's been replaced with a 3.4L Twin Turbo V6 and in the TRD PRO is also paired up with Toyota's Hybrid Max system. Total system output is a healthy 437 Horsepower, and a stout 583 lb/ft of Torque. I say all that to say, the V8 will not be missed. Sure the sound of the V8 is something a V6 could never replicate but the new powertrain has the V8 beat in power, torque, & fuel economy.
