Hey! I am back with a new video. So, I know it has been a while, but I have acquired a Fender Twin Reverb in blonde! (It’s a tone master twin but still)
It looks beautiful and sounds as good as it looks!
I play some nirvana riffs as well as a S.R.V riff at the end to finish off the video on a versatile note. I used my Strat and mustang.
If you hadn’t noticed, I also had a much crunchier tone for Pennyroyal Tea and Serve the Servants because of a new pedal! The Behringer HM200!!!
It is so versatile, crunchy, and cheap so anyone can get those Sansamp Classic/original tones;
I play primarily In utero riffs for this since Nirvana used this amp for recording it.
I am recording with a Shure SM57 microphone.
Gear used -
Fender Twin Reverb
Fender mustang (Seymour duncan Hotrail)
Stratocaster (Seymour duncan 59N)
BEHRINGER GDI21
BEHRINGER HM200
Shure SM57
Change of room setting — Because I moved, also explains the upload gap.
Thanks for watching! Expect more videos with the HM200 and Twin reverb
Note - I do understand there are some issues with the recording. I’ll start out by addressing that the video towards the end of Pennyroyal tea gets super distorted and slow, I do not know why this happened. Also, the mustang has a small problem where when I play open chords, there is a static noise as heard in About a girl. This is probably an interference issue which I’ll get to fixing.
