Photographer Javier Corso works to communicate aspects of the human condition through telling local stories. Javier will take students through his work researching, photographing, and sharing the story of the Matagi hunters of Japan.
The Matagi are a community of hunters with origins dating back to the 16th century. Like many First Nation communities, the cultural practices of the Matagi are under threat.
