Took the sniper underwater scope to the Dr Rocks Goldfield today as the tide was coming in for a quick test, going to be perfect for the creeks and rivers around here looking for the gold on the stream bottoms. Now what is the sniper? here is the description from the supplier:
The SNIPER Underwater Viewing Scope is the first of its kind, hand dredge mountable, 2" diameter underwater viewing scope. The primary intent of this device is to be mounted on a hand dredge to assist the gold prospector while hand dredging rock crevices and working the surface of gravels of streams. The SNIPER can be mounted or repositioned at any linear portion of the hand dredge body, at any radial point on the body, and may be rotated on the mounting axis for optimum three dimentional positioning for use.
