In Episode 5, Michael Angelo Caruso, discussed how to sell without selling.
This Episode 6, where Michael tells how to use signature stories to get attention, be remembered, leverage emotional appeal, convey convey facts in more interesting ways and ultimately become more influential.
Three things to remember when crafting a signature story:
1) Make it a SHORT story (between one and two minutes)
2) True stories work best
3) It's okay to someone else’s story if you provide attribution
Good signature stories are intriguing, authentic and involve the customer so they tend to #influence more than a constant stream of bullet points.
Your "sig story" should also be strategic in that it should be relevant to the lesson you're trying to impart or product/service you're trying to sell.
Also in this video, Michael tells his famous "Above the Clouds" story. He calls out the important points of the narrative and explains why certain elements resonate so well with audiences.
