This video is a continuation of my previous video, "Flood Mapping using Sentinel-1 (GRD) in Google Earth Engine (GEE)". In this video, I have demonstrated how to assess the loss and damage of the agricultural land due to the flood induced by Cyclone Amphan (16 May - 20 May 2021).
I have used a few variables from the opined previous video. MODIS Landcover product (MCD12Q1) is used in GEE to find out the damaged agricultural land in hectares. MCD12Q1 is a 500m spatial-resolution product, and also I have reprojected the floodwater layer in this video. Local context and knowledge are the strengths to perform accurate spatial investigation.
