Roy Nichols: Western Swing Guitar "Old Fashioned Love"

Join me in July for my first Skype workshop on the Western swing lead guitar style of Roy Nichols. This 4 week workshop will take a look at 4 different solos- "Corrine, Corrina", "Roly Poly", "Old Fashioned Love", and "Right or Wrong".

We will talk about his approach to soloing out of chord shapes, embellishing the melody, imposing chord changes over simple changes, and altering notes within chord shapes to get altered lines.
