Emantic Bradford Jr. (pictured), known as EJ, was killed on Thanksgiving night by a police officer who mistook him for a shooter in Hoover, Alabama. His mother April Pipkins said 'the whole scenario would have played out differently' if her 21-year-old son had been white. Police initially blamed Bradford, who they said had a gun in his hand and was responsible for shooting two people at the mall, but later retracted the claim.
