TRADITION AND FUTURE MIX IN DUTTA COLLECTION.
Abhishek Dutta's show at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai had a surprise model, Bollywood actress Vidya Malavde decided to support the young designer by strutting her stuff on the catwalk.
The designer, winner of Smirnoff international fashion award and an award winning student of Wigan & Leigh College, believes in creating garments with a difference.
He focuses on wearibility along with a futuristic look by combining unconventional fabrics like denims, velvets, leather, etc. with various ancient embroideries and futuristic cuts.
Mixing tradition with new ideas is certainly appreciated by actress Vidya Malavde :

This collection featured fabrics with beautiful thread work and Swarovsky crystal all over it. He also used loose linens, thin cotton and a touch of vintage.
His creative talent ranges from women's wear to menswear, ethnic as well as western and extends to accessories.
The Laksme Fashion week was conceived and created in order to integrate India into the global world of fashion .
Fifty four designers from all over India will display their designs at the Lakme Fashion week, from 13th till the 17th. of October 2007.
