Lisa Tourville's stroke affected the left side of her body, including her face, arm and leg. A minimally invasive procedure, through a catheter, allowed Gundersen Lutheran neurointerventionalist Mohammad Kabbani, MD, to remove the clots from her brain. Since the procedure she's gotten married, and is working toward climbing one of the area bluffs. Dr. Kabbani uses coiling procedures in the treatment of brain aneurysms and strokes, giving new hope to patients like Lisa. For more information: gundluth.org/neurosciences or call (608) 775-5000.
