I decided to give making a pipe a shot. I purchased a briar blank from Vermont Freehand with the intention of making a freehand style pipe. I also purchased a book written by Pimo, that details how to make a briar pipe. So armed with that info, I took to my workshop and made my first attempt at producing a pipe.

It turned out well enough. There are things that I learned during the process of making this pipe, and will apply them to my next freehand.

All in all, I am satisfied with how well it turned out, and I hope you enjoy watching the process.
