I guess these NOS Japan-made Seiko 5 models have that special appeal to the hardcore Seiko fans out there.

Apart from the quite lovely anthracite dial, the SNXS79J1 is just that - a budget, entry-level watch. This one is definitely for those who want a piece of history.
