Alternate versions of egotistical theatrical villains with god complexes. These versions of the villains succeeded where their main counterpart failed, managing to kill the team of heroes trying to stop them from completing their goal (The Avengers and Stardust Crusaders). They then collect a set of items (the Infinity Stones and the souls of 36 Sinners) which they got thanks to a purple villain of a future storyline that normally wields this power (Thanos and Pucci). These items transform the villain, giving them the godlike ability to overwrite reality. This ability gives them many powers such as changing the world to what they deem fit, increase their own strength, resurrect the dead, remove people from existence, manipulate time, and traverse different universes. After drastically changing their own universe, they become aware of other universes thanks to a strange visitor (The Watcher and Valentine). They see this as the opportunity to expand their conquest to the entire multiverse. The visitor is horrified by this, so they fight the villain throughout different universes, but loses. Since they aren’t able to stop the villain by themself, they choose to assist a new team consisting of heroes from different worlds and times (Guardians of the Multiverse and the Joestar Family). This team is finally able to take this massive threat down, mostly thanks to one team member with a power similar to the villain (Strange Supreme and Jotaro).
