Let us read the Bible together. Today we’ll be reading Proverbs Chapter 1.

The Book of Proverbs is part of the literature of Hebrew wisdom. Like the Book of Psalms, it is a collection of several works. Solomon was the main author, but it also contains many aphorisms and sayings from Jewish wise men.

As you read, you will find that most of the content in the Book of Proverbs is relevant to our daily lives. It leads us to live our lives wisely, and more importantly, it teaches us to fear God with all our hearts. If there could only be one book on self development left in the world, it must be the Book of Proverbs!

Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction.
