Buying custom suits and shirts online is one of the best ways to get clothes that fit well for pretty reasonable prices, especially if you don't have an "off the rack" build. But buying made-to-measure clothing can be a very frustrating and expensive experience. You can waste your precious time and money if you don't do it right.
I've got shirts and suits from all of the most popular MTM companies, including Indochino, Oliver Wicks, Knot Standard, CottonBrew, Vulture Suits, Deo Veritas and Black Lapel - to name a few. Here are 3 crucial lessons I've learned over the past few years, when it comes to buying MTM clothes. Also, I'll explain the difference between made-to-measure, custom and bespoke. The difference between MTM vs. bespoke is especially important.
