Stephane Lambiel performed an absolute wonderfull new program in fantasy on ice. I made a montage with excerpts from his performance interspersed with images of a dancer executing movements in nature, so close is Stéphane's skating to classical ballet.
In an interwiew he said that this program is about a love story so I imagined that this girl corresponded to an imaginary love with Stéphane by dance figures.
With “Simple song”, this piece is one of stephane lambiel best performance of his last years and was presented during the show skating in fantasy on ice 2023 Makuhari.
We could enjoy stephane lambiel best spins, so beautiful and full of grace, one of the fundamental characteristics of Stéphane's art. He skated with fluidity, elegance and high sensibility. At 38 years old, being a choreographer and a coach, with very little time for his own skating, he is capable of maintaining a technical and artistic level out of the ordinary.
