The money-laundering and fraud case against the self-proclaimed prophet, Shepherd Bushiri has been postponed to the 1st November in the North Gauteng High Court.
The Enlightened Christian Gathering church leader and his wife, Mary were arrested in February 2019.
The pair fled the country to Malawi after they were granted bail late last year.
Bushiri and his wife would have stood trial this morning had they not fled.
Three additional warrants of arrest were issued following their escape to Malawi- these for alleged rape.
The fugitive Bushiris are currently fighting their extradition to stand trial here.
Their extradition case will be heard on June the 3rd at the Liliongwe Magistrate's Court.
