Recipe :
3 Quick Chaat Recipes
Papad Churma
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 3
Ingredients:
8 Papad
1 tbsp Ghee
½ cup chopped onions
½ cup chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tsp chopped green chilies
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 cup green chutney
1 cup pomegranate seeds
½ cup fine sev
Method:
Roast the papads on gas flame. Crush the papads coarsely. Add the ghee over the papads and mix well. Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, chopped ginger, green chilies and coriander leaves. Add salt to taste and mix well.
Remove to serve bowls. Top with green chutney, pomegranate seeds, fine sev and serve immediately.

Noodle Manchurian Chat
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
4 cups boiled noodles
2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 tsp Vinegar
1 tbsp. Corn Flour
4 nos. Green Onions
8 cloves Garlic
2” piece Ginger
4tbsp Tomato Ketchup
2 spring onions
1 cup finely chopped vegetables (carrots, capsicum, cabbage)
Vegetable Oil for frying
Salt to taste
Method:
Finely chop the ginger, garlic, spring onion whites and greens.
Mix together the tomato ketchup, soya sauce, corn flour, salt vinegar and 1 cup water.
Heat sufficient oil in a pan.
Deep-fry the noodles in hot oil till golden brown. Do this in batches.
Heat 1-tablespoon oil in a wok or pan till fairly hot. Add chopped onions whites, garlic and ginger. Saute on high heat till golden in color. Add the corn slurry. Bring to an immediate boil and cook till the gravy thickens.
Put some fried noodles in a bowl. Add some chopped vegetables over it. Top with some Manchurian sauce. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve.

Frymus Pipe Chaat
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
3 boiled potatoes
2 tbsp green chutney
2tbsp minced onions
2 tsp chopped green chilies
2 tsp coriander leaves
2 tbsp sweet tamarind chutney
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tsp red chili powder
2 tsp chat masala
1 tsp cumin powder
½ cup fine sev
20 fried pipes
Method:
Frate the potatoes. Add all the ingredients except for the fried pipes and sev. Mix well.
Cut fried pipes into halves.fill with the prepared mixture. Dip the ends in fine sev and serve immediately with green chutney.
