Everyone knows that iPhone (and other mobile phones) often have trouble with White Balance. The photos turn to whatever color, but not how our eyes saw it. Here's a simple hack to make your photos great again! (without any custom "camera" apps required).
This works because iPhone is looking for the brightest "White Point" on an image. And if everything it sees is "colored" - then the White Balance would be wrong. For example - if you're shooting colored object on a colored background, or an autumn forest is also a nice example - these tend to be grayish & bluish, instead of bright warm yellow.
By showing your iPhone something white for a second - you give it a "reference white point" - and you instantly can see how colors begin to change! To hold that color in place - you apply AE/AF lock, and then you can remove the object from the frame and the colors will remain correctly balanced. WB problem - Solved.
