(Side note: When Celine Dion released her version, I knew that the original song was from Eric Carmen but what I didn’t know is that Eric Carmen based the verse on the 2nd movement of Sergei Rachmaninoff. He thought it was public domain but…. Nope! So the songwriters of All By Myself is not only Eric Carmen but also Rachmaninoff!)
