ASIA'S LONGEST-RUNNING FILM FESTIVAL IS BACK!
Hong Kong is playing host to the 46th International Film Festival (HKIFF46) which screens over 200 titles from 67 countries/regions in the fortnight from Aug 15. Among them, 38 are either world or Asian premieres. For the second year, the HKIFF46 is going hybrid, featuring over 40 films through its HKIFF46 ONLINE platform (Aug 16 - Sep 2) (Note).
Opening Films: Philip Yung's WHERE THE WIND BLOWS (World Premiere) and NG Yuen-fai's WARRIORS OF FUTURE;
Closing Film: Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne’s TORI AND LOKITA (Asian Premiere);
Gala Premieres: THE SPARRING PARTNER (World Premiere), TALES FROM THE OCCULT (Local Premiere), and TO MY NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD SELF (World Premiere);
10 seminal films from Sandra Ng, Filmmaker in Focus; and INFERNAL AFFAIRS TRILOGY with a marathon screening of 4K restored version.
