Slept on it and now all the tapes are gone. Sad. Here is an irreverent blast of UK-sounding punk from current Tokyo spikeys, Intruders. Truly, the cover art of this cassette says it all; seething, all black and red, with mohawk. Starting this tape off is the blitzing "Urban Soldier". It's a great punk song with a catchy refrain of "Urban Soldiers". More Varukers speeds then the rest of the songs on this tape. While many of their national contemporaries lean more on the Discharge bent of '80s UK bands Intruders come hobbling in at a thumping gait, with screeching melodies and belted sung-shouted choruses. Each song in my opinion gets progressively better climaxing in the ultimate anthem "Generation". Plus one "Secret Track," which is a No Choice cover.
Feel free to comment if you have anymore information on this band or know where to track down copies of the tape.
