SIR-RFS Webinar: SIR Medical Student Council Presents - Clinical Management of Acute Stroke
Presented by Dr. Eli ZImmerman MD
Assistant Professor of Neurology
Vanderbilt University
Every year, close to 800,000 people in the US will suffer a stroke. It is the 5th leading case of mortality and leads to annual economic costs of more than $30 billion. Although recent advances in diagnostic and interventional capabilities have improved outcomes for many of these patients, the management of these patients requires keen clinical judgment without hesitation. In this webinar, stroke neurologist, Dr. Zimmerman, will provide essentials in the care of acute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes.
The SIR Medical Student Council is proud to present Dr. Eli Zimmerman, who completed his general and vascular neurology fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital before joining faculty at Vanderbilt.
Original Presentation Date: 1/26/2017
