Didn’t go to plan but that’s ponies

Alf is still awesome and I’m fortunate to be part of the best team ever

Mentally just too much for him today.

Well today was one of those to scratch as experience
Alf is still not confident leading but after last week flying following in the inter we thought he was ready to lead the Cotswold novice
He was doing super, then left a leg at the drop fence, nearly face planted, after that felt confidence drain. Had a stop at a simple fence then said no at the ditch/water drop so we retired/we’re eliminated not sure which
That’s horses. Popped the warm up fences on the way out lovely. Sad as only 2 from home and had been so brave up until then
Anyway we live to fight another day, will do some schooling to 🤞 regain some confidence before the next
