'It Don't Mean a Thing if it ain't Got That Swing' - Ellington. This was recorded first in midi format, and annotations added later.
It was improvised in the quirky style that is sometimes used by such people as Harry Connick Jr, Jessica Williams, and of course Monk- with the deliberate 'stumbles' in time, the cluster discords that sound like mistakes, and the deliberately stilted time. I tried to copy this simple, primitive, naive style. Also, I have small hands, so the stride style is simplified with no stretches, and can be played with the Left Hand root and chords contained within an octave.
