Get ready to face a tough challenge, as Yang is a big step up in difficulty compared to the other bosses. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use any Focus Attacks on Yang. If you're used to relying on these skills, it's time to adapt and fight without them.

Yang will fight with his bare hands and his approach will vary in each phase. As a general rule, you should aim to Parry his punches and dodge his kicks, unblockable strikes, and the last attack in each combo. This will give you an opportunity to punish him.
Yang's combos are fast and often immediately followed by other combos or single punches, so you need to be prepared for multiple attacks in succession.
He may also only perform part of a combination and immediately start a new one if the first one doesn't connect.

Phase 1:
During this phase, Yang will primarily perform high attacks. There is only one low sweep kick he may use, but it's easy to telegraph and can be punished or blocked.
He will quickly counter your attacks as soon as you finish a move or combo.
His Structure regenerates quickly, so you must learn to deplete it by Parrying his attacks and not giving him a break when he's waiting for you to attack.

Phase 2:
Yang will become more aggressive and won't stay idle, so his Structure won't recover as quickly.
He will use low kicks more frequently as part of his attack combos, so be prepared to block or avoid to the side for an opportunity to punish.
Be careful not to get greedy when punishing him after a Parry, as his counters will happen quickly and can be painful if he catches you off-guard.

If your Structure is low during the first phase, you can take cover behind any of the wooden pieces of furniture on both sides of the office. However, there is no such cover during the second phase.
