This covers events happening with The Gambinos during the rest of 1977. It then continues through most of 1978 with The DeMeo crew and The Westies.
Jimmy Coonan and Mickey Featherstone are terrorizing Hell's Kitchen. It is making the mafia look bad. The Westies are giving Paul a headache but nothing else in return. So, Big Paul summons a meeting and Jimmy and Mickey are left wondering if it is a trap.
Then, the Demeo crew eliminate every enemy who crosses them. Roy Demeo offers to perform contract murder to all 5 of the families...and outsiders. Dracula proves he is a lot more dangerous than he looks. Roy has perfected his killing ritual which will lead to one of the most macabre and sinister parts of NYC history. The Murder Machine is now in business.
Meanwhile, Danny Grillo begins to become unraveled, and Dominick Montiglio makes a choice that will haunt him for the rest of his life.
