An anxious board gamer ventures into a FLGS to awkwardly search for Ark Nova! During this Friendly Local Game store (aka Board Game Cafe) search for one of the top boardgamegeek games, distractions are everywhere! Mansions of Madness, Cosmic Encounter, and even custom dice & card sleeves. Yet is the correct tabletop game at the store? And what strategies can be used to counterplay social interaction? Talking to people is clearly bad game design because you can't deckbuild or worker placement out of the situation.
