My friend, the Brazilian trumpeter Claudio Roditi (1946-2020) and I were both born in the same city, our wonderful hometown, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. So it's my pleasure to upload this gem, a delightful samba-jazz arrangement of 'Air on the G String' ('Change of Air'), written by the German composer, arranger, virtuoso organist, harpsichordist and choirmaster Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). With views of the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Recorded in the album 'For a Long Time' (2014).
