There is a real 12AX7 tube equipped inside the Tube Pilot. I imagine if you used digital amps you can use this to make your sound lively.

The biggest con is that this pedal super bright. You can't eq this pedal, so you may need something else to help make it less bright.

Overall, it's a great pedal, and you won't be disappointed.
