AI is advancing rapidly and is nowadays considered to be the next wave of highly disruptive technology which will have massive impact on our society and the way we will work in future. Will machines put humans’ jobs at risk and reduce employment once they continue to improve their performance beyond humans? How do we prepare ourselves for the jobs that will not be needed in the future? How do we address the anxiety and potentially reluctance to this change within our society? Will our governments put regulations in place aiming to address these changes (e.g. minimal guaranteed income for everyone). And more importantly what can we do to find productive ways to deal with the upcoming change? Sohaila Ouffata is Director of BMW iVentures Europe.
