The Motor Cycle Center tests the new 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 Speciale with full Akrapovic titanium exhaust system - 226 crank hp is claimed by Ducati.
Note: MCC's dyno is a "heartbreak dyno", meaning it reads lower than many others. Dyno results are always meant to be comparative and not absolute. There is always power loss through the transmission and chain, the tire, how the bike is strapped down on the dyno, even the type of gas can all affect results. Our garbage 10% ethanol gas in IL no doubt robs some power as well. The video provides comparable results from other bikes tested on this same dyno. Spoiler: The Ducati V4 with full Akra is the most powerful bike MCC has ever dynoed.
