This episode A DAY IN THE LIFE, is aimed at giving you an insight into exactly what a construction site engineer does on a daily basis. I talk through exactly what a setting out engineer is, the types of setting out equipment that I use on site. I also run through some of the best parts of the job and why being a construction site engineer is very rewarding.

There seems to be a distinct lack of female construction site engineers in the UK at the moment and I am hoping this video might inspire other women to join the construction industry.

This was one of my last days before leaving for my maternity break. I was7.5 months pregnant and still working on site.

I had to leave out some of the physical aspects of setting out on a building site due to the pregnancy. I do however still get to show you my TOPCON EDM and other aspects of a construction site engineers job/workload.
