At the @ArtofActingStudioLosAngeles, part of my coursework included choosing a historical figure to perform a fifteen minute one-person production of. In this assignment, we submit a proposal, and when it approved, research, write, design, and perform this piece with the intention of expanding it and having a piece of work that one can always perform in between projects.

The story I had the immense privilege to tell was of Dr. Gisella Perl, a prisoner doctor of Auschwitz. In her time there, she made impossible choices, and saved countless lives. I am humbled and honored to be able to tell an incredibly powerful story. She made a choice no one should have had to make, and she would do it again. It was a choiceless choice.
