What is recovery like for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and Butt Augmentation (Implants)? A Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) starts with liposuction in order to get the fat needed to transfer to the butt. A Butt Augmentation uses implants to increase the size and shape of your butt. You cannot sit for at least 2 weeks because we do not want to disrupt the fat that was transferred to ensure the shape and size you were wanting to achieve (optimal results). For butt implants, we don't want you to sit for at least 2 weeks because we don't want the incision to open. We also recommend no heavy lifting or physical activity for at least 4 weeks.
