Call me crazy, but I miss the novelty of loading screens, at least the ones that tried to be creative and even let you play during them. Although game optimization has removed most loading times, the "hidden" loading screen problem has gotten worse and is in many ways more annoying than an overt loading screen. In this video, I want to highlight creative uses of loading screens that are more useful than you think. In losing loading, we've lost an art. Pausing is playful.
