Pork Chop Seasoning
pork chops boneless center-cut loin
oil
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
onion powder to taste
Creole seasoning to taste
paprika to taste
Seasoned Flour (reserve 2 tbsp for the gravy)
2 cups flour all-purpose
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp Creole seasoning
1 tbsp paprika
Gravy
1 tbsp butter
1- 8 oz pack mushrooms
2 tbsp seasoned flour
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
Season the pork chops with the seasonings mentioned above.
Using a large skillet, add oil, and butter, and fry the pork chops on both sides for about 3 minutes per side, according to the cut and size of the pork chops.
Using the same pan add the remaining butter along with the mushrooms. Saute, until the mushrooms become slightly softened. Add the minced garlic and combine. Cook the garlic until it becomes fragrant.
Add the flour and combine. Cook the flour for about 30 seconds. Add the chicken broth and incorporate. Add the heavy cream and stir until well combined. Add a small pinch of paprika. Lower the flame before re-adding the pork chops. Cove with a lid and cook thoroughly. Allow the gravy to reduce and slightly thicken.
Serve on up with mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, risotto, or slap it between 2 buns and get to eating.
Enjoy!!
