Foam tips could help if you really wanted to improve this
Wind - Blocks most of the wind despite ANC being active but you can still hear the wind a bit. The mic test will demonstrate this better in a few minutes.

I like to use these when I travel. ANC is great, but that is worthless if earbuds aren’t comfortable so let’s take a closer look at that.

I am not sure exactly what is different but these stay in my ears WAY better than the ii’s

So far the Quiet Comfort name seems to be quite fitting. Of course, we have a few more things to test and discuss, including some new features that you might not have expected.

Pixel fold doesn’t have aptX adaptive so I am using my nothing phone(2)
I actually really like the sound profile of these!

Plenty capable bass and subbass
Warm and pleasant sound
More detailed than the previous generation
A bit boomy, but the EQ can help with that. For many genres, honestly the boomy sound is ideal

I listened to The War On Drugs which has a lot of layers and just tons of stuff going on. These kept up and made it feel like I was there. Dynamic and lively sound

Sometimes, if I am not playing music, I hear strange static and beeping sounds in the left bud

And following that thread of traveling, you obviously need the battery life to last the whole flight. Here in the US, pretty much any domestic flight is 6 hrs or less.

6/24 hrs battery with ANC (4/16 with immersion)

So what is immersion mode?
One of the big new features.
