Customer Reviews
- Las Rocas rock.
Audio was lost but here’s the jist. La roca means the rock in Spanish and Wildhorn nailed the name of these goggles because they rock! This review is off to a bumpy start but bear with me as we dig into these a bit more. If you can’t tell, I went with the blackout lens cuz Even in the north east I have to protect these deep pools of hazel from the UVs. If we get a sunny day down here in Boston I might have to throw these on because I’m dying to try them out and they’re good lookin enough to wear on or off the slopes. However, the lens isn’t even my favorite part. That accolade belongs to the rare earth magnets. These rockstars attach the lens to the frame seamlessly, quickly, and most importantly: easily. In the north east when the weather changes quicker than a jerry scorpion, the changable lens is a must-have. Don’t tell Mr. Smith but I have had a pair of “easy” lens change goggles from another company and they don’t hold a candle to the Rocas. So this all seems great, there’s gotta be some downside, right? As far as I can tell, the only downside is that it’s only October and I have to wait a month before I get to wear these on the slopes.
- Great goggles but strap could use a non-slip feature.
I really liked these goggles. They fit easily with different helmets and were pretty good with not fogging up once I positioned my gaiter better. The strap stayed as tight as I had adjusted it however I do wish the strap had a non-slip feature. It works fine if you are securing the strap to a helmet. I like them so much I might look into adding the non-slip myself. The lens was beautiful to look through and offered a decent peripheral; I didn’t feel like I was looking down a tunnel. I also received numerous compliments from my group and strangers so they are a good looking set. I didn’t have to change out the lenses so I can’t speak to that feature but I will say that these goggles were everything I needed to see comfortably on the slopes, snowmobiling and dog sledding.
- These feel like $120 goggles
I was super skeptical but I needed new goggles on a budget so I gave these a try. Before I owned some nice smith goggles. These impressed me so much.... the lense swaps easier than any other goggle and the quality of materials impressed me. I didn’t expect these to be as legit as they are. They also look great.
