At Savanna Institute we want to help make it possible for farmers to safely navigate livestock and tree crop integration on their farms.

We’ve partnered with Farm Commons, Wisconsin’s Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection, and a group of experienced farmers to tackle the subject. The results: a thorough guidebook for understanding how food safety regulations impact your farm, a live video conversation between legal and regulatory experts, and a 5-part video series showing how Midwestern agroforestry farmers have navigated this issue.
