ABOUT PAUL CARDALL:
The life of pianist Paul Cardall is the embodiment of triumph over tragedy. The gripping details are what best-selling novels are made of. Perhaps that is why author J.D. Netto was inspired to write The Broken Miracle, a captivating two-part book series to be released in 2021. The book chronicles how even though Cardall lived most of his life with only half of a heart, he overcomes many obstacles to thrive as a musician and a philanthropist.
Cardall’s music is known to millions all over the world, boasting more than 2.4 billion streams in 160 countries. What is less known, is his compelling story and generous spirit. Both are on full display in The Broken Miracle as well as his recently launched podcast, All Heart with Paul Cardall, where he delivers encouraging, educational, and often inspirational conversations with unique people who believe in making the impossible possible. “In my life, I’ve been faced with what seemed like insurmountable odds,” Cardall says. “With my second chance at life, I want to give people hope and a sense of calm through my music and my stories.”
The pianist’s convictions combined with his unwavering optimism formed his path out of despair. It was music that has so vividly lit this path and delivered to his life a sea of blessings and a mountain of joy. From an early age, Cardall created and performed original piano pieces. Some of them intimate and all inspirational, they ensnared the hearts of music lovers all over the world. In 1994, he felt the first taste of success when author Richard Paul Evans invited him to compose a musical adaptation of his No. 1 New York Times best-selling novel, The Christmas Box. The resulting album and Evans’ mentorship essentially helped launch Cardall’s professional recording career.
In 1999, Cardall founded Stone Angel Music which became the headquarters for his budding empire. He recorded and released four albums independently allowing millions of fans around the world to be soothed by his scores of tranquility. This resulted in his music debuting #1 on Billboard charts nine times which solidified a worldwide passionate following.
As the first decade of the 2000’s came to a close, Cardall’s life changed forever while living in a children’s hospital composing for and sharing experiences with parents of children suffering from congenital heart disease. He was notified that a heart had become available for him. “It was like I had been driving an old truck all my life and that was all I knew,” he says. “Then doctors gave me the keys to a Porsche.”
2020 finds Paul Cardall celebrating the 10-year anniversary of receiving his “Porsche heart.” He is now signed to Anthem Entertainment Group, enjoying the success of his podcast and eagerly awaiting the 2021 publishing of the book, The Broken Miracle, and the accompanying new record.
