Turning Copper Scrap into Custom Pours - Melting and Pouring Copper!
Since I had a viewer send some scrap Copper to me to make him a few bars and rounds, I figured I'd film the process that I did.
I failed to film all of the pours as I was just making sure that I did the job correctly and safely, but I do show the finished product.
Working with copper is much harder than working with silver since it's melting point is higher and it's cooling point comes quicker. Plus, without a large foundry, you can only do so much!
I am learning as I go though and I am getting more of a feel for working with copper. I'm sure I will continue to fine tune the process the more I practice.
