By the end of 1777, General George Washington had a large decision to make, to either launch a winter campaign against the British or go into winter quarters. Both decisions had their advantages and disadvantages, and this video explores Washington's options and why he chose to go into winter quarters at Valley Forge. Ultimately, Valley Forge forged the Continental Army into a fighting force to combat the British.
