The LAST Soo Line/Milwaukee Bandit on the Canadian Pacific Railway (now CPKC), Soo 2010, made an appearance at Saint Paul Yard. After spending years at Humboldt Yard, the locomotive was pulled from storage, ran through the shops, and stashed outside of the diesel shops in Saint Paul. This unit was built back in Oct of 1966, and has been sold to a new owner. We'll get a brief history of this unit, see some pictures of it, and get some close up views of it. In the deadline with it are two other Soo Line locomotives nearby; Soo 4411 and Soo 4416.
Truly and the end of an era on the CP as this power fades into history, and for the Milwaukee Road as well! Hopefully Soo 2010 finds a good, new home.
