Earlier this summer, our German team headed south to the rich farming country of Baden-Württemberg to meet Wolfgang and the other trailblazing farmers bringing new life to their land through regenerative agricultural practices.

“Understanding regenerative agriculture is a very sensory experience, it’s almost as if you can feel the ground shift beneath your feet. The fields managed using regenerative practices put a spring in your step, being composed of rich moist soil; compared to the hard, exhausted and scorched soils of conventional farming methods.” Says Adele Marie Grundmann, a sustainability advisor at South Pole.
